I needed to fix my car's A/C during the height of hot Seattle weather. Curtis at Acme Auto got me in within a few days of calling and did a phenomenal job fixing things up. The cost was on the lower end of what other shops were estimating as well. Moreover, when I came by to pick my car up, I asked whether he could take a look at some issues I was having with my check engine light and wiper fluid sprayers. He agreed to do so without any hesitation. He fixed the sprayer issue I was having and informed me of the codes affecting my check engine light for free. Curtis is a stand up guy and extremely good at what he does. I will be coming back to Acme Auto for any additional car service I need.

I came here to convert my AC system fittings from R12 to R134, and AC servicing. They were the perfect shop to go to. Parking is not ideal, but worth it in my opinion because the mechanics know what they are doing. They explained the whole process to me and were great on communication.

Acme is amazing! My van had a tricky electrical problem that other shops had not been able to diagnose and resolve, these guys had it figured out and fixed in no time! Based on that success I had them test and recharge my air conditioning which had not worked well in years. Whatever they did worked because two years later (updated 10/23) it is still blowing frosty cold! Had them fix a few other smaller issues like a door that wouldn't lock with the key fob, mission accomplished... My 10+ year old minivan is now in tip-top condition thanks to Acme. Experts at their trade, pleasant to work with, professional, fair prices, top quality parts and they stand by their work. Give them a shot, you'll be happy you did!

Got totally screwed by Redline Auto Electric on Roosevelt and screwed by Dr. Don to the tune of $700 total without a fix. Fixed the issue myself in the end. So the g-friend had a problem that the GMC and Interstate dealers diagnosed incorrectly. Acme figured it out in minutes. I'm definitely going back to them next time. They seem to be the only auto electric place around that actually knows what they're doing.

Full marks awarded to this shop. They got me in the next day, comprehensively diagnosed my alternator failure, explained in detail how they did so when I asked, and charged me for less than an hour of work for all of the above. For comparison, the Toyota dealership tried to charge 3X the price, sell me a new battery + install, and took two full days to "verify" this work as part of the warranty claim that followed. The customer service here was respectful and kind, but just as efficient and accurate as their work. Without a doubt this is the place I'll go when I have electrical issues I can't sort out myself. Highly recommend.

I can't say enough about my experiences at this auto shop. I've had the pleasure over several needed visits from simple to complex repairs done here. All the staff and mechanics are friendly and honest when it come to repairs. I've never felt overcharged for the work and have never had something fail after repaired. Had a complete removal of a Jeep Heater core and filters Removed and replaced to fantastic results. To those that know the process it's a 24 hr+ repair! Most$$$ is labor intense. I was Totally pleased with the results. You do have to leave your vehicle generally for a day, but with covid that's normal with general mechanics. I highly recommend them as a permanent repair shop for all vehicles.

I have an older car whose electric windows finally stopped working. A local mechanic who couldn't figure it out what was wrong told me to come here, speaking highly of their expertise and service. Sure enough, they figured out what was wrong and instead of trying to persuade me to spend the money to fix it, let me know they agreed and supported my decision to not put any more money into this car. They had even taken photos of the ruined wires to show it to me and thoroughly explain the problem! They did all of this in just a few hours instead of a longer wait time, and, because they diagnosed it so quickly, they didn't even charge me. Great shop, honest, dependable, and trustworthy.

We brought in my sons Jeep wrangler as it had an intermittent electrical problem that caused it to go into limp mode or die shortly after starting. We had taken it to another shop where we were kept on promising they could fix it. Every time they said they had it fixed it did the same thing! After 3 1/2 weeks they decided they couldn't fix it and called us to come pick it up. Needless to say it was quite frustrating. We took it to Acme Friday morning, within 1/2 day they called to say they found it and fixed it!. We asked them to test drive it twice to be sure. It was corrected and still is. What one jeep shop couldn't do in 3 1/2 weeks, Acme did in a half day! The price was very reasonable as well. For any auto electrical issues one should go visit the Aurora shop in Seattle on highway 99.
